Committees

The Importance of our Members’ Involvement
Through the support and involvement provided by the members in the Phoenixville region, the Chamber pursues an ambitious program of action aimed at building a stronger economy and quality of life for our community. The programs are developed and implemented through the active participation of member volunteers who serve on various committees and task forces.

Why You Should Get Involved
By participating on a committee or task force, our members have an opportunity to work with the top business, professional, and community leaders; gain sales and public relations experience; and receive valuable leadership and management experience while meeting in groups and determining issues and actions of common interest.

We encourage you and/or members of your staff to take part in the Chamber’s efforts on behalf of our area’s businesses and general community by contacting the Chamber Office to discuss involvement in joining a committee. Below you will find a description of each of these groups.

Our Committees

Golf Classic Committee

The Golf Classic Commit, also held in the spring, is one of the largest fundraisers of the year for the Chamber. The event takes place at a local golf course; it is historically held at RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve. The day on the 18-hole course includes lunch, golf, fun contests, an open bar, dinner, and an auction.
Current Co-chairs: Frank Giardina, Jessica Capistrant

Annual Charity Gala Committee

The Charity Gala is an upscale event held in the fall. The gala is mainly comprised of a large auction and benefits a non-profit organization within the Phoenixville community. The event begins with a cocktail hour and moves into a plated dinner that is followed by the auction and live music!
Current Co-chairs: Megan Inmon, Jessica Capistrant

If you are interested in any of these events specifically, please contact Jessica, Chamber President, at jcapistrant@phoenixvillechamber.org.
