ABOUT THE EVENT
Go is the oldest surviving board game still played in its original form (from China, over 4,000 years ago). It’s a strategy game so simple one can play it after just a few minutes; yet so complex it contains more possible moves than the total number of atoms in the observable universe. The objective of Go is to encircle an opponent’s stones and surround and defend the largest territory on the board. If you like to play chess and are looking for an extra challenge, are interested in Asian cultures and arts, or just want to relax after school and game with friends, you’re invited to come play Go!
Please register: online at www.phoenixvillelibrary.org or call 610-933-3013×124 or when visiting the library.
