ABOUT THE EVENT

Based on the concept that “PLAY IS A CHILD’S WORK!” Play K is not a story time session, but a place where children ages 4-6 years and a parent/caregiver can come together to “play kindergarten” using themed materials of play scapes, such as Shopping, Towns, Pets, etc. that will help them improve vocabulary and develop social interaction skills before they enter Kindergarten. Sponsored by the PA Office of Commonwealth Libraries as part of the Cruise Into Kindergarten initiative.
