A Workshop for Parents, Families and Caregivers: With Special Guest Speaker Juliet Cooke, Occupational Therapist

In this workshop, you will:

* Gain a deeper understanding of Sensory Integration and how it affects the lives of individuals with Autism
* Learn how to manage difficult behaviors associated with Sensory Processing
* Understand when to encourage or discourage certain behaviors
* Gain insights to help differentiate between behaviors caused by sensory processing overload and non-sensory related behaviors
* Develop tools and strategies to meet their sensory needs
* Learn how to prevent sensory overload and meltdowns
* Receive guidance on managing people’s response in public situations
