Getting Involved with Chamber Committees

Get Involved with Phoenixville Chamber Committees

The Importance of Our Members’ Involvement

The Phoenixville Chamber thrives on the support and involvement of its members. Together, we pursue an ambitious program to strengthen our economy and improve quality of life in our community. These initiatives are made possible through the active participation of volunteers serving on committees and task forces.

Why You Should Get Involved

By joining a committee or task force, you have the opportunity to collaborate with top business, professional, and community leaders. Members can gain valuable experience in sales, public relations, leadership, and management, while working in groups to address key issues of common interest.

We encourage you and your staff to participate in the Chamber’s efforts for local businesses and the community. Contact the Chamber Office to explore involvement opportunities on one of our committees. Below is a brief overview of each group:

Our Committees

Golf Classic Committee

Held in the spring, the Golf Classic is one of the Chamber’s biggest fundraisers. The event typically takes place at RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve and includes an 18-hole round of golf, lunch, fun contests, an open bar, dinner, and an auction.
Committee responsibilities: Recruit players, sponsors, and auction items, and manage event details to ensure a great experience.
Co-chairs: Frank Giardina, Jessica Capistrant

Annual Gala Committee

The Gala, held in the fall, is an upscale event featuring a large auction that benefits a local non-profit. The evening includes a cocktail hour, entertainment, a plated dinner, and live music.
Committee responsibilities: Recruit attendees, sponsors, and auction items, connect with entertainment providers, and ensure a high-quality event.
Co-chairs: Megan Inmon, Jessica Capistrant

Dine Around

The Chamber’s Dine Around program highlights a local restaurant each month. These member restaurants host a prix-fixe dinner by reservation, where the community dines together, and the restaurant’s owners and chefs share their story.
Co-chairs: Jessica Capistrant, Meg McCain

Events Committee

This committee supports the Chamber’s calendar of events, gathers feedback to develop new event opportunities, and assists with fundraising efforts for the Golf Classic and Gala.
Co-chair: Jessica Capistrant
