100 Men of Phoenixville
“Bonding together to create a more caring community”
About
“Bonding together to create a more caring community”
Your membership will provide you with the opportunity for a few things:
First, a donation of $100 will allow you to become a voting member of the group.
As a voting member, you will get to nominate a non-profit that is located and
operates in the Phoenixville School District area. Once all nominees are submitted,
three of the organizations will be randomly selected. The three randomly selected
non-profit organizations will make a presentation to the membership at a local
venue and then we will vote to award three grants.
Our goal is to receive $100 from 100 men. That $10,000 total would be divided
with the non-profit receiving the most votes being awarded $7,000, with the
second organization receiving $2,000, and the final group receiving $1,000.
Regardless of the amount raised, the organizations would be giving 70%, 20%, and
10% respectively of the funds we raise. All presenting organizations would receive
some funds in addition to sharing with our group what those non-profit’s programs
are within our community.
We are asking for $100 and for you to nominate a non-profit organization located
and operating within Phoenixville Borough, Schuylkill Township or East Pikeland
Township, and if you can attend our meet and greet.
Local men coming together to support local organizations and each other in the
process, strengthening bonds and networking in our town are some of the benefits
of funds locally raised and locally directed.
In addition to helping non-profits here in our town, it will give us all the
opportunity to build a great network among men committed to making our town a
better place than it already is. We encourage you to share this with your friends
and family. We are also intending this to be a multi-generational group so if you
want to include young men in your orbit, please be sure to send this to them.
