NO ESCAPE GEARTM STORY
We trace our humble beginnings of No Escape Gear,TM LLC back to Phoenixville, PA in the early 1990’s. That is when a group of friends, who had just graduated high school, began playing flag football in a Recreational Flag Football League sponsored by the Phoenixville Area Recreation Department.
Coming up, as Young Men we were primarily raised by Strong Women who emphasized the importance of Love of God, Family, Education, Community and Sport. We were taught to: Never Give Up on Pursuing Your Passions in Life.
Back in the 1990’s and well into the 2000’s, We called ourselves the “No Escape Football Team,” and for close to 20 years, we performed at a high level and won many local Flag Football League Championships throughout the Philadelphia, PA area.
In 2006, the Team started designing t-shirts under the name of “No Escape Athletics.” The Members of the Team designed a wide range of Gear and Apparel, including: Sweat Suits, Jerseys, Bandanas, and Hats for them to wear during their Games.
During these early years, the Men of No Escape also began building connections with youth by working with local afterschool tutoring programs and providing extra-curricular activities, including a Children’s Saturday Bowling League and a week-long Summer Camp that focused on a specific sport each day of the camp (Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Tennis, and Bowling).
The Men of No Escape organized Community Cleanup projects where children and adults participated to help keep their communities clean and safe. Men in the organization also often provided entertainment services for community events (PAPA [Phoenixville Area Positive Alternatives] Father’s Day Celebration, Community Block Parties and a PAPA [Phoenixville Area Positive Alternatives] Summer Basketball League), as well as entertainment for weddings, birthdays and special events (HOTTT Entertainment).
This strong foundation of Brotherhood and Respect for Our Community started by the Men of No Escape led to the development of No Escape Gear, TM LLC where it is today.
