This workshop is designed to help the unemployed and underemployed recognize the many facets associated with career transition and to discover the large number of free resources available to aid in securing new employment and addressing associated needs.
Casey Jones leads the Transformation Initiative “Building Healthy Communities through Healthy Families” project that seeks to create community-wide systems of care, based on life stages, through collaborations among churches and faith-based and community organizations, including governmental entities, to meet the needs of families. He has been involved for many years in facilitating employment and other support groups that aid individuals and families struggling with a variety of life issues.
The is the first event of Phoenixville Public Library’s new “Jobseeker Speaker Series” on the 4th Thursday afternoon of each month, and is part of the Library’s focus on maintaining and expanding broad-based resources of assistance to residents of its service area who are seeking employment or researching startup or expansion of a new or existing business.
