ABOUT THE EVENT
On Saturday, September 26, 2015 over 100 racers, walkers and kids will participate in the Seventeenth Annual Kimberton Run. This 5K Run/Walk and 1/2 mile Kid’s Run wil again take place on a perfect day for running in lovely East Pikeland Township in Chester County, PA.
Like last year, the Kimberton Waldorf School will again provide a water stop at their campus near the Covered Bridge. Please support their October run at: http://kimberton.org/5k
After the Kimberton Run, trophies and medals will be awarded and a drawing for many great door-prizes will take place.
Last year, thanks to the racers and great sponsors, we raised over $2,700 to support the various charities of the Kimberton Lions!
Over the past sixteen years, the Kimberton 5K Run/Walk has raised nearly $56,000 to benefit Lions’ projects.
A great big THANK YOU to all of the race participants, to all of the helpers and to all of our donors, supporters and sponsors.
