8th Kiwanis Auction and Spaghetti Dinner to benefit The House

Saturday, March 14, 2015 8th Kiwanis Auction and Spaghetti Dinner to benefit The House

ABOUT THE EVENT

The mission of The House is to provide a permanent housing program for single women in greater Phoenixville: to empower single women to become self-sufficient and independent; to provide supportive services and counseling for homeless and low-income single women; to take women from crisis to independence and beyond; to enhance skills and maintain success in self-sufficiency. Phoenixville has had men’s shelters and a family shelter but has not had a shelter for women without children. This project has filled a need in the Phoenixville Area.

The Kiwanis Club of Phoenixville has been in existence since September 10, 1925. Our motto is “We are a Global Organization of Dedicated Volunteers Changing the World One Child and One Community at a Time!”

The spaghetti dinner for this event is being provided by Franco Ristorante. A large variety of items will be available to be bid upon via both silent and live auctions. There will also be raffle baskets and a 50-50. We hope you can attend our fundraiser on March 14, 2015 from 5:30-9:00 at the Covered Bridge Room of the Kimberton Fire Company. Doors will open at 5. Tickets are $12.00 in advance. Don’t wait till the last minute to get a ticket, this is sure to sell out. Tickets will be $15.00 at the door if not sold out. Tickets can be purchased from any member of the Kiwanis Club or The House volunteers. Tickets will also be available from Franco Ristorante, 226 Bridge Street, Phoenixville and Foresta’s Meats, 1098 West Bridge Street, Phoenixville.

This is shaping up to be one of the largest auctions we have ever had the privilege to bring to Phoenixville. See you on the 14th of March!
