ABOUT THE EVENT
Cultivating the Summer Fire – A Beginner’s Class in Qigong
This class will cover the basics of Qigong and aid you in forming your own individual moving meditation practice. Qigong is an ancient form of energy work, using sound vibration, motion, and pressure to unblock our hidden energy reserves. Together, we will cultivate the summer Yang energy to restore balance in our bodies, minds, and spirits. Each class will review basic Qigong philosophy and movements culminating in Bagua Circle walking, then finally a guided meditation.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time dressed in loose-fitting clothing and bring a meditation cushion, bench, or pillow.
Classes are $15 a class or $50 for the entire series. The Series runs every Tuesday in July.
