ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host the AARP Smart Driver 4-Hour Refresher class on Friday, March 1 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The AARP Smart Driver course offers you an important opportunity to learn how to drive more efficiently and safely. You’ll learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate your vehicle more safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment. You’ll learn how you can manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time, and much more. Participants must have previously taken an 8-hour Smart Driver class in order to attend this refresher class and qualify for a possible insurance discount. Cost is $15.00 for AARP members (card must be presented) and $20.00 for non-members (check or money order only, payable to AARP Smart Driver).
