ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host the AARP Smart Driver two-day course on Thursday and Friday, June 14 and 15, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on both days. The AARP Smart Driver course offers you an important opportunity to learn how to drive more efficiently and safely. You’ll learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate your vehicle more safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment. You’ll also learn how you can manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. You may be eligible to receive an insurance discount upon completing the course, so consult your insurance agent for details. AARP membership is not required to take the course and there are no tests to pass. Cost is $15.00 for AARP members and $20.00 for non-members (check or money order only, payable to AARP Smart Driver.
