Phoenixville Public Library will host a free virtual presentation, “Alzheimer’s Disease: Effective Communication Strategies”, on Thursday, June 17 at 7:00 PM. Brad Trout, a community educator for the Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, will be the speaker. This session teaches caregivers to decode verbal and behavioral communication by someone with dementia. Participants will leave with strategies for meaningful connection with people in early, middle and late stage dementia.
