Ask the Therapist

Ask the Therapist

Thursday, January 19, 2023 Ask the Therapist

ABOUT THE EVENT

Phoenixville Public Library will host a free “Ask the Therapist” program on Thursday, January 19 at 6:45 PM. Licensed therapist Nancy King will be the speaker. If you’ve had thoughts of seeing a therapist and hesitate for any number of reasons, this is your opportunity to “Ask the Therapist”. Come with questions of what to expect, do my symptoms warrant the expertise of a therapist, and general questions about common mental health issues. If you are interested in changing your outlook on life and improving your view of the world, stop by for an interesting discussion of what therapy can do for you.
Nancy King is a licensed therapist with over 30 yrs. experience. She has worked in a variety of settings, focusing on: women’s issues, drug, and alcohol recovery, eating disorders, unresolved grief, and navigating life’s transitional stages. Her style of psychotherapy is direct and engaging, using evidence-based practices which enhance self-awareness and change. Her clientele consists of adolescents through adulthood, helping people transition from an unhealthy way of viewing the world to living a life of fulfillment and purpose.
This event is free and open to the public. The program will also be live-streamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person. Registration is required at https://ccls.libcal.com/calendar/Phoenixville/ask-the-therapist or by calling 610-933-3013 x132.
