Phoenixville Public Library will host an “Autumn Tree Walk in Black Rock Sanctuary” on Saturday, November 1 from 2:30 to 3:30 PM. Martha Cownap, Pennsylvania Master Naturalist and Camphill Village Kimberton Hills Lead Herb Gardener, will lead this program. Come see what the trees and other plants are doing this time of year in Black Rock Sanctuary in Phoenixville. Learn how to identify common trees, why leaves change color in the fall, and some of the traditional uses of many of the plants in the park. This tour will involve walking about a mile on paved paths. Meets at the parking lot of Black Rock Sanctuary, 953 Black Rock Rd. (PA-113), Phoenixville, PA. This is a rain or shine event and is free and open to the public. Space is limited.
