Warwick County Park Rangers Chris Wales and Nathan Helminiak will teach participants how to properly prepare for an adventure into the wilderness. They’ll discuss what kind of gear to bring, how to navigate, primitive survival skills, and much more.

Hike
on Horse-Shoe Trail at Warwick County Park

Sunday, April 24 * 2:00 – 4:00 PM

To test your skills, Rangers Chris and Nathan will also lead a special hike on the Horse-Shoe Trail at Warwick County Park on Sunday, April 24 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Participants will be challenged with some survival scenarios to overcome along the way. Come prepared with a backpack filled with items you feel will help you survive in the wilderness. This will be a fun and easy-going hike, which will be held rain or shine. Participants should meet at the Warwick County Park Office, 191 County Park Rd., Pottstown. You do not need to have attended the April 21 Library program to participate in the hike.
