Floods, hurricanes and tornadoes are becoming more frequent and can be devastating to our loved ones, homes and communities. Build confidence by learning simple steps you can take now, to help prepare and protect your family. Phoenixville Public Library will host a free virtual disaster preparedness presentation, “Be Read Cross Ready”, on Tuesday, September 14 at 10:00 AM. Heather Bowman and Lynn Cohen of the American Red Cross, Southeastern Pennsylvania Region, will be the presenters. The program is designed to help people understand, prepare for and respond appropriately to disasters. Volunteer opportunities and ways to support the American Red Cross will also be presented.
