Chester County is home to nearly 180 species of birds. Learn about the common local species that reside here for several months each year in this photo-illustrated lecture. Key facts, identifying features, and how to differentiate between similar species will be discussed.

A retired engineer, John Mercer is treasurer of the West Chester Bird Club and has been actively birding for 10 years. He leads bird walks at Exton Park and Longwood Gardens.
