Books on Tap

ABOUT THE EVENT

Books on Tap, Phoenixville Public Library’s book discussion group for adults in their 20s and 30s, will meet next on Tuesday, December 17, 7:00 to 8:30 PM, at Sedona Taphouse, 131 Bridge Street, #5, Phoenixville. The group will discuss Alan Moore’s award-winning graphic novel, Watchmen. This stunning graphic novel chronicles the fall from grace of a group of superheroes plagued by all too human failings. The concept of superhero is dissected and inverted as strangely realistic characters are stalked by an unknown assassin. Originally published as a 12-issue series in 1986 & 1987, it remains one of DC Comics most popular graphic novels. A copy of the book may be reserved at the Library or online at www.ccls.org.

This event is free and open to the public. No reservations required. Food and drink are not included but will be available for purchase. For more information, e-mail Christine Shaffer at shaffer.m.christine@gmail.com.
