ABOUT THE EVENT

Books on Tap, Phoenixville Public Library’s book discussion group for adults in their 20s and 30s, will meet Tuesday, September 24, 7:00 PM, at The Bridge Bar & Grill, 37 Bridge St., Phoenixville. The group will discuss Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit, the bestselling book by John E. Douglas. In chilling detail, the legendary Mindhunter takes us behind the scenes of some of his most gruesome, fascinating, and challenging cases—and into the darkest recesses of our worst nightmares. During his twenty-five year career with the Investigative Support Unit, Special Agent John Douglas became a legendary figure in law enforcement, pursuing some of the most notorious and sadistic serial killers of our time: the man who hunted prostitutes for sport in the woods of Alaska, the Atlanta child murderer, and Seattle’s Green River killer, the case that nearly cost Douglas his life. Copies of the book may be reserved at https://chesp.na.iiivega.com. eBook copies may be reserved at https://chester.overdrive.com. This event is free and open to the public. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. No registration required. Email Faith Donaher at fdonaher@gmail.com for more information.
