ABOUT THE EVENT
Books on Tap, Phoenixville Public Library’s book discussion group for adults in their 20s and 20s, will meet Tuesday, March 25, 7:00 PM, at La Patrona Mexican Restaurant and Tequila Bar, 400 Bridge Street, Phoenixville. The group will discuss Louise Erdrich’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, The Night Watchman. Based on the extraordinary life of National Book Award-winning author Louise Erdrich’s grandfather who worked as a night watchman and carried the fight against Native dispossession from rural North Dakota all the way to Washington, D.C., this powerful novel explores themes of love and death with lightness and gravity and unfolds with the elegant prose, sly humor, and depth of feeling of a master craftsman. Copies of the book or audiobook may be reserved at https://chesp.na.iiivega.com. Copies of the eBook or eAudiobook may be reserved at https://chester.overdrive.com.
