Chester County Pops Orchestra Concert: Celebrating 10 Years of the Chesco Pops!

Sunday, July 19, 2015 Chester County Pops Orchestra Concert: Celebrating 10 Years of the Chesco Pops!

ABOUT THE EVENT

This summer the Chester County Pops Orchestra celebrates 10 years of wonderful music making for the residents of Chester County and beyond. This special concert will highlight your Chesco Pops favorites throughout the years, as well as introduce some new music. One such work, Celebration Fanfare, was written especially for this momentous occasion by composer Joe Tracy. Audiences will enjoy the music from the Star Wars epic, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, along with Broadway favorites and much more.

The Orchestra will also feature its saxophone quartet – Jeff Hart (soprano), Jennifer Godowsky (alto), Bernadette Tabakelis (tenor) and Crystal Brulato (baritone) – in a rousing performance of Stephen Foster Revisited.

The Chesco Pops is again partnering with Phoenixville Public Library. For the price of a ticket, a concertgoer will enjoy another fabulous Chesco Pops performance and also support the ongoing community programs and activities of the Library. A percentage of ticket revenues will be awarded to the Library.

Ticket prices are $15 for an adult, $12 for a senior (62+), and ALL children and students will be admitted FREE. Tickets are available at the Library, as well as the door and online at www.chescopops.org.
