Crescendo Phoenixville invites you to our Classic Cinema Concert on Wednesday, April 22 at 7:00 PM at the Colonial Theatre (227 Bridge Street, Phoenixville). Admission is free.
This is something you won’t see anywhere else: a double feature of original silent films — a comedy and a melodrama — written, directed, performed, and presented entirely by our students, accompanied by live violin. The whole performance is just 30 minutes, making it an easy midweek outing.
Crescendo Phoenixville is a nonprofit afterschool violin program serving students in the Phoenixville community. Events like this one showcase what’s possible when kids are given real creative ownership — not just learning music, but using those skills for storytelling, collaboration, and performance.
