Sunday, October 02, 2022 Community Gardening around the Village: Fall Foraging Walk at Reservoir Park

ABOUT THE EVENT

The next event in Phoenixville Public Library’s partner-sponsored “Community Gardening around the Village” series will be a “Fall Foraging Walk at Reservoir Park” on Sunday, October 2 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. Charlene Briggs will lead the program at Reservoir Park, 601 Franklin Ave., Phoenixville. Foraging is the ancient art and science of botanical traditions. Charlene will identify common plants – including dandelion, burdock, yellow dock, goldenrod, comfrey, plantain, and others — and the variety of food and medical traditions associated with them. Charlene Briggs has a life-long practice of herbal studies and a certification in herbal medicine
and ethical foraging from the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine. This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required at https://ccls.libcal.com/calendar/Phoenixville/fall-foraging or by calling 610-933-3013 x132. Email mpinto@ccls.org for more information.
