Phoenixville Public Library will host the next event in the Community Gardening around the Village series on Monday, December 5 at 6:45 PM. Martha Napolitan Cownap, herb gardener at Camphill Village Kimberton Hills, will lead attendees in a free “Lip Balm and Salve Making Workshop”. Does the winter weather make your skin dry and chapped? Are you looking for an easy-to-make, inexpensive, useful gift for your friends and family? Do you like to use natural herbs and oils on your body? Come learn how to make healing herbal salves and soothing lip balm, just in time for holiday gift-giving! Martha will demonstrate how to make salves and balms out of olive oil, beeswax, and common herbs. This event is free and open to the public. Space is limited.
