ABOUT THE EVENT

Phoenixville Public Library will host the next virtual event is its “Community Gardening around the Village” series, “Sowing for Fall Seedlings”, on Thursday, July 22 at 7:00 PM. Ryan McCaughan, Garden Educator with the Chester County Food Bank, will be the speaker. In this presentation, attendees will Learn best practices for what, when and how to grow seedlings for your fall garden. Ryan McCaughan has a degree in elementary education from West Chester University and taught 4th & 5th grade for five years. He is an avid home gardener and has spent time traveling and working on farms. He has been a garden educator at the Chester County Food Bank for the past ten months.
