Ready to get down and dirty at Phoenixville Public Library? The Library will host a Container Gardening Workshop on Thursday, May 4 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Chester County Master Gardener Cassandra Hogue will lead the workshop and share tips on designing, planting and maintaining container gardens for all seasons. Participants will then plant their own “spring blooming” container to take home. Plants and potting soil will be provided; participants should bring their own pots or other “creative containers” and garden gloves. All containers should have a drainage hole and not exceed 10” in diameter. Cost is $15.00 per person, payable at the door. Space is limited.
