ABOUT THE EVENT
Learn how to create a family emergency plan and what to put in an emergency kit in this important presentation to be held at Phoenixville Public Library on Monday, August 13 at 7:00 PM. Karin Williams of the Phoenixville Office of Emergency Management will be the speaker. She will also provide an overview of the Office of Emergency Management and information on how to find out about emergencies, tips for handling the most common emergencies in Phoenixville, the Smart911 service, and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training.
This program is Part 1 of Phoenixville Public Library’s “Survival Series”. Participants in this program will receive a free raffle ticket for some cool survival-themed products to be given away at the end of the event on August 27.
