ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation, “How to Cut Your Carbon Footprint”, on Monday, May 15 at 7:00 PM. Geraldine Guzman will be the speaker. Excess carbon dioxide intensifies the greenhouse effect. More heat is trapped by the atmosphere, causing the earth to become warmer than it would be naturally. The increase in global temperature this causes is called global warming. Learn some small, simple things you can do to reduce your carbon footprint every day, at home, work, or on the go. Geraldine Guzman is a member of Earth Guardians, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the earth. This event is free and open to the public. Reservations are required on the Adult Events Calendar at www.phoenixvillelibrary.org or by calling 610-933-3013 x132.
