Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with art historian Jaan Troltenier as she brings her first-person interpretation of avant-garde Mexican artist Frida Kahlo to Phoenixville Public Library on Thursday, May 5 at 7:00 PM. Although Kahlo encountered many misfortunes in her life, she confronted her suffering and turned it into art. She is most famous for her self-portraits, which continue to speak to people today.
