ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free antique and collectible evaluation and presentation, “Downsizing or Discarding: Are You Throwing Away Treasure?”, on Thursday, May 25 at 6:30 PM. Award-winning appraiser Leon Castner, of Castner Estate Services and National Appraisal Consultants, will be the presenter. He will give a short presentation on what’s hot and what’s not in the world of antiques and collectibles and what you should throw away or keep. Attendees may bring one item for a free evaluation in a theater-type presentation — or display it on Zoom — as you learn the secrets of today’s antique market. Join us for this lively and entertaining program. Leon Castner is an award-winning appraiser and educator and a certified member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA). He is President of Castner Estate Service, Inc. and Senior Partner at National Appraisal Consultants LLC, both of Schwenksville, PA. This event is free and open to the public and will also be livestreamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
