ABOUT THE EVENT
A free Earth Day event for children ages 5-12 is the next offering from Phoenixville Public Library in its partner-sponsored “Community Gardening around the Village” program series. Children are invited to celebrate Earth Day by dropping by the Library any time between 4:30 and 5:30 PM on Tuesday, April 22 to plant some easy-to-grow flower seeds in pots to take home. Martha Napolitan Cownap, herb gardener at Camphill Village Kimberton Hills, will lead the activity. All materials provided. Come to the old front door on the Main Street side of the Library if weather permits; otherwise, the activity will take place in the Library’s Community Room. This event is free and open to the public. No registration required. For more information, call the Phoenixville Public Library Youth Services Desk at 610-933-3013 x124. Phoenixville Public Library is located at 183 Second Avenue, Phoenixville, PA.
