ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free lecture, “Fibromyalgia: The Corrective Approach”, on Tuesday, September 5 at 7:00 PM. Dr. Jeff Snyder of Snyder Family Chiropractic will be the speaker. Fibromyalgia is a condition characterized by widespread, migrating, and often debilitating pain and fatigue which prevents people from accomplishing everyday tasks. The National Foundation for Fibromyalgia estimates that as many as twelve million Americans suffer from fibromyalgia, and up to 40% of fibromyalgia patients have to stop working or change jobs. The average person suffers from fibromyalgia for five years and spends thousands of dollars on medical bills before receiving an accurate diagnosis. As a result of misdiagnosis, more than half of all people undergo unnecessary surgery. If you suffer from what you believe is fibromyalgia or even if you’re not sure, this lecture is for you. You’ll learn the common and not so common traits and some drug-less solutions to this painful condition. This event is free and open to the public. Reservations are required on the Adult Events Calendar at www.phoenixvillelibrary.org or by calling 610-933-3013 x132. Phoenixville Public Library is located at 183 Second Avenue, Phoenixville, PA.
