ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation, “Fine Tune Your Medicare”, on Monday, October 5, 6:30 PM, at the Library. This program will be presented by a Chester County PA MEDI counselor. This event is for people who have Medicare, want to review the basics of Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medigaps, and Prescription Drug Plans, and see what changes beneficiaries can make for the upcoming year during the Medicare Annual Open Enrollment Period (AOEP) from October 15th – December 7th. Learn about federal and state programs that are available to help with Medicare costs.
Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight (PA MEDI), formerly known as APPRISE, is a free, confidential and unbiased health insurance counseling program designed to help all Pennsylvanians with Medicare. PA MEDI counselors are specially trained staff and volunteers who can answer your questions and provide you with objective, easy-to-understand information about Medicare.
This event is free and open to the public. The program will also be livestreamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
