ABOUT THE EVENT
Fourth Wednesday Readers, Phoenixville Public Library’s in-person book discussion group for adults of all ages, will meet at the Library on Wednesday, September 27 at 1:00 PM. The group will discuss the award-winning, bestselling novel, “Lessons in Chemistry” by Bonnie Garmus. In 1960s California, scientist Elizabeth Zott becomes the host of America’s most loved cooking show, in spite of the mores of the time trying to keep woman’s place in the home. But Zott is no “average woman.” Hilarious and idiosyncratic, her story is uplifting. Even her run-in with her super-star colleague, Calvin Evans, holds surprises. This event is free and open to the public. No registration required. Email mpinto@ccls.org for more information. Phoenixville Public Library is located at 183 Second Avenue, Phoenixville, PA.
