ABOUT THE EVENT
The Fourth Wednesday Readers, Phoenixville Public Library’s in-person book discussion group for adults of all ages, will meet at the Library on Wednesday, June 28 at 1:00 PM. The group will discuss The Girl with Seven Names: A North Korean Defector’s Story by Hyeonseo Lee and David John. Growing up in North Korea, Hyeonseo Lee was trapped by the secretive and brutal communist regime. As the 1990’s famine struck, she realized she’d been brainwashed her entire life into believing her country was the greatest in the world. At 17, she decided to escape North Korea, never realizing her journey to be reunited with her family would take her 17 years. A New York Times Bestseller.
