Phoenixville Public Library, partnering again with the Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area, will host a free presentation, “From the Museum: Now and Then: The Changing Face of Phoenixville”, on Thursday, September 25 at 6:30 PM. The Historical Society’s Jack Ertell will be the presenter. Old photos, picture postcards, and contemporary pictures from the Historical Society will show how the face of Phoenixville has evolved over the years. See which places you remember and which ones may surprise you. Jack Ertell is a retired educator and acting chairman of the board for the Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area, where he also serves as newsletter editor and chair of the archives committee. This event is free and open to the public and will also be livestreamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
