Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation, “From the Museum: Phoenixville’s Lenape Artifacts and What They Tell Us”, on Monday, May 5 at 6:30 PM. Joe Varady from the Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area (HSPA) will be the speaker. The Lenni Lenape people lived in the area we now call Phoenixville for more than 10,000 years. In this presentation, check out Lenape archeological finds from the HSPA museum and find out what they tell us about the lives of these indigenous people. Plus, learn what to do if you find an artifact. This event is free and open to the public. The program will also be livestreamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
