ABOUT THE EVENT

Historian Roger Arthur returns to Phoenixville Public Library on Thursday, March 1 at 7:00 PM with the second part of his lecture series on American statesman and Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. “Hamilton the Visionary” addresses the Constitutional Convention, Hamilton’s monumental influence to get the Constitution ratified with the Federalist Papers, his role as the first Treasury Secretary, and his influential leadership establishing the government on a sound footing. Roger Arthur has a Master’s degree in American History from West Chester University. He currently teaches American History and Government at Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, PA. This event is free and open to the public.
