ABOUT THE EVENT

Ready to publish your newly-written, great American novel? Consider self-publishing! Phoenixville Public Library will host a free, virtual “How to Self-Publish” presentation on Thursday, January 7 at 7:00 PM. Eric Simmons, whose four self-published books have appeared more than 60 times on Amazon’s “Best Sellers” list since January 2019, will be the speaker. His presentation will cover: self-publishing methodology, establishing a budget for your book, available resources, coming up with a book’s price, book distributors, and marketing your self-published book.

Eric Simmons is the CEO of ESE, Inc., a website development firm specializing in creating sites for compensation eligible college athletes, high school athletes, authors, poets, and others who seek to present their “personal brand” on the Internet. A former college athlete, he enjoys sports and public speaking. He self-publishes under his full name, Eric Otis Simmons, and recently branded his written works as ESETOMES.

Since January 2019, his four self-published books, “#HTSP – How to Self-Publish,” “Not Far From The Tree,” “Getting Your Book Into Libraries,” and “Self Publisher’s Toolkit,” have appeared on Amazon’s “Best Sellers” list 61 times and have been ranked in the “Top 1%” in sales 86 times and the “Top 10%” 534 times. His article, “How To Get Your Book Into Libraries,” became the top Google search result, out of over 2 billion, on the subject of “getting your book into libraries.” Since January 2018, 141 copies of his self-published works have been placed in 114 Libraries worldwide, including Phoenixville Public Library.

Eric and his wife Cynthia reside in metro Atlanta, and they have three adult children.
