ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation, “Human Trafficking 101”, on Wednesday, September 16 at 1:00 PM. Evie MacDonald and Elizabeth Deaton, Program Coordinators with Worthwhile, will be the speakers. Human trafficking is not just a global issue. It is a local issue affecting men, women and children from right here in our communities. Come learn about the realities of this growing problem including the roles of the traffickers, buyers and the individuals being trafficked. This is your opportunity to get informed and learn how we can respond to make a meaningful impact together.
This event is free and open to the public. The program will also be livestreamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
