Joe Kenney
Joe Kenney’s forthcoming debut album of original jazz piano compositions, Afflictions and Remedies, showcases an innovative musical sound that fuses elements from classic jazz and contemporary music. Joe will perform selections from this original project in addition to favorite jazz standards.
Joe’s musical influences range from jazz legends like Oscar Peterson and Art Tatum to innovative keyboardists from various modern genres, such as rock and jam band. In addition to maintaining an active performing schedule, Joe teaches piano privately and is the Music Director at New Hope Christian Church in Broomall, PA. He is also co-owner of Mosaic Music Lessons in Phoenixville. Joe earned his Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance from West Chester University in 2013, and he will be pursuing his Master’s degree there in the fall of 2015.
