Phoenixville Public Library will host a free, interactive concert/lecture, “Jazz’s Female Singers”, on Thursday, October 3 at 6:30 PM. Listen, learn, and sing along as vocalist Emma Bockrath and the Patrick Kerssen Trio dive deep into the enthralling history of jazz’s female singers. Through live performance, historical analysis, and audience participation, they’ll explore the lives and music of legends like Ella Fitzgerald, modern greats like Esperanza Spalding, and everyone in between. There’s something for everyone on this journey through music history! This event is free and open to the public.
