ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will present the Joe Kenney Trio in concert on Monday, May 20 at 7:00 PM. Local keyboardist Joe Kenney, bassist Warren Mobley, and drummer Lenny Mobley will perform music from Joe’s jazz fusion/rock/classical inspired upcoming album and distinctly exciting arrangements of popular songs. Joe Kenney is a recording artist and virtuoso keyboardist residing in Phoenixville. His recordings are distinctly his: a cohesive blending of jazz fusion, rock, and classical idioms. Prolific — he’s put out three full albums with one forthcoming (all in about three years) — Kenney has garnered praise for both his original compositions and cover arrangements.
