ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free online presentation by Phoenixville Area Transition on Thursday, June 11 at 7:00 PM. Transition Phoenixville is a movement to expand community resilience to climate impacts by reorienting the local economy and culture to nature and personal relationships. They seek to transition from dependence on fossil fuels and corporations to interdependence with each other and with nature.
Members of Phoenixville Area Transition’s CORE group offer a brief history of the international Transition Towns movement and its relevance to Phoenixville in the time of COVID19. This event is free and open to the public, and will take place online via Zoom. Registration is required on the Adult Events Calendar at www.phoenixvillelibrary.org to receive an invitation to this online event, which will be e-mailed out a few days prior to the event.
