ABOUT THE EVENT

Learn how to build a LinkedIn profile to capture the attention of potential employers in a free class to be held at Phoenixville Public Library on Saturday, June 15 from 10:00 AM to noon. Stephen Trimble is the instructor. The class will cover: writing an impactful, results-oriented profile description; including appropriate experience and skills; writing recommendations of current and former colleagues; endorsing current and former colleagues for skills and experience; reaching out to influential members to build one’s network, and reading and commenting on network members’ articles and other content.

Stephen Trimble is a successful writer, editor, and business consultant from the West Chester area. Without a college degree at age 24, he advanced from a mail room clerk at a local publishing company to a full time editor in charge of his own paid-subscription newsletter publication. From there, he moved on to some of the largest and most successful companies in the country, concentrating in development of financial, insurance, and pharmaceutical content. Currently he is a senior-level contractor writing and editing in the International Department of The Vanguard Group in Malvern, PA.
