ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free event with local author Katie Bean on Thursday, September 19, 6:30 PM, at the Library. At this event, Katie will share how her debut book, Fragile Thoughts: A Healing Memoir went from a dream to a reality, and showcase the power of the three healing modalities that profoundly affected her life. She’ll guide participants through some deep breathing practices, share inspiring stories from her book to showcase vulnerability, and offer journal prompts for healing. Bring a journal, a pen, and an open mind!
Since 2008, Katie has worked as a master’s trained health educator and recovery advocate providing well-being coaching for individuals and groups. In 2017, she became a trauma-informed yoga teacher as part of her own spiritual development and then felt called to share her experiences to empower others to heal. Fragile Thoughts is her first book and it shares her story and provides a roadmap for readers to find healing. Katie lives in Phoenixville, PA with her husband, John, and dog, Charlie. Find Katie at @KatieBeanWellness on Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube or through her website: www.BeAnAgent4Change.com.
This event is free and open to the public. The program will also be livestreamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
