ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free talk by local author Sloane Ellis on Monday, December 16 at 6:30 PM. In Used: Not a Memoir, Sloane Ellis takes readers on an unflinching and remarkably candid journey through his battle with addiction. This self-styled “memory-dump” blends a moving, reverent ambiance with amusing and sometimes horrific dramatics, through which Ellis mines his own wild story, distilling into universal life lessons. Whether you’re navigating your own path to recovery or seeking inspiration, Ellis’s powerful narrative will resonate deeply and leave you with a renewed sense of possibility. Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event. This event is free and open to the public. The program will also be livestreamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person. Registration is required at https://ccls.libcal.com/calendar/Phoenixville/sloane-ellis or by calling 610-933-3013 x132. Email mpinto@ccls.org for more information. Phoenixville Public Library is located at 183 Second Avenue, Phoenixville, PA.
