ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation, “Mankind’s Search for Life Beyond the Earth”, on Monday, June 12 at 6:45 PM. Dr. Don Miller, NASA Solar System Ambassador, will be the speaker. One of mankind’s great unanswered questions is whether we are alone in the universe. Can life exist beyond our planet? NASA and other space agencies are seeking to answer these questions through both spacecraft missions and space telescopes. A number of missions have already been completed, others are ongoing, and plans exist for a wide range of future programs. This presentation will discuss these topics, highlighting goals, timing, and results to date, when feasible. This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required at https://ccls.libcal.com/calendar/Phoenixville/life-beyond-earth or by calling 610-933-3013 x132. For more information, email mpinto@ccls.org.
